Designed for homeschool families, our farm school offers a unique learning environment where children spend their days exploring, building, creating, and learning through experience. We believe education is most powerful when children are actively engaged with the world around them.

Question 1: Is the program held outdoors?

Yes. Isle Acre Farms Farm School is a nature-based learning program, and students spend the majority of their day outdoors. Our learning environment is designed to encourage exploration, movement, hands-on experiences, and connection with the natural world. Covered areas may be used during inclement weather, but outdoor learning is a central part of our program.

Question 2: Is this a homeschool program?

Yes. Isle Acre Farms Farm School is designed to support homeschool families through supplemental educational experiences.

Question 3: Is the program faith-based?

No. Our program is secular and values-based.

Question 4: Are parents required to volunteer?

Yes. Families complete 8 volunteer hours per semester or may choose the volunteer buyout option.

Question 5: What should students bring?

Students should bring:

- Water

- Lunch/snacks

- Weather-appropriate clothing

- Outdoor gear as needed

Question 6: What happens during bad weather?

We have covered structures and safety procedures in place for inclement weather.

Question 7: Will there be bugs?

Yes. Because we spend much of our time outdoors, students may encounter insects, ants, spiders, butterflies, bees, and other wildlife commonly found in nature. Learning to respectfully coexist with the natural environment is part of the farm school experience.

Question 8: Does my child need special gear?

No special gear is required. We simply ask that students arrive dressed appropriately for the weather and outdoor activities. Comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, a water bottle, and weather-appropriate items such as jackets, hats, or rain gear may be needed depending on the season.

Question 9: Is there a sibling discount?

Yes. Families with multiple children enrolled receive a sibling discount.

- First child: Full tuition

- Additional children: 10% off tuition

Our goal is to make the program more accessible for families with multiple learners.

Question 10: Are refunds available?

No. Enrollment fees are non-refundable, and tuition is reserved for your child's space in the program. Because staffing, scheduling, and program planning are based on enrollment commitments, refunds are not provided for absences, schedule changes, voluntary withdrawals, weather-related closures, or missed program days.
